Last updated: June 2026. These terms explain how Microchip Cart handles browsing, product discovery, checkout, GST invoicing, business accounts, delivery, returns, and support.

1. Using Microchip Cart

Microchip Cart is an electronics component storefront for individual buyers, students, makers, repair engineers, startups, and business buyers. By browsing the site, creating an account, submitting business details, placing an order, or contacting support, you agree to use the service lawfully and provide accurate information.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, OTPs, account devices, delivery addresses, and business profile information accurate and secure. We may restrict or suspend access if an account appears fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, or harmful to other users, sellers, distributors, payment systems, or the platform.

3. Product information

Product names, images, descriptions, specifications, datasheet links, compatibility notes, stock levels, warranty details, and lead times are provided to help component selection. Electronics parts can have variants, revisions, tolerances, and supplier-specific packaging, so buyers should verify critical requirements before ordering.

4. Orders, pricing, and taxes

Prices, discounts, stock levels, GST, shipping charges, and delivery estimates may change before checkout is confirmed. Orders may be reviewed, delayed, split, substituted with consent, or cancelled if payment fails, stock is unavailable, pricing is clearly erroneous, details are incorrect, or misuse is detected.

5. Payments

Available payment methods may include cash on delivery, online payment providers, or other options shown during checkout. Online payment approval does not guarantee fulfilment if an order later fails stock, address, verification, compliance, or fraud checks. Failed or cancelled payment attempts should be reported with payment reference details.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver within Pune, Maharashtra only (local pilot). Pan-India shipping is coming soon. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on stock, verification, and local logistics. You must provide accurate shipping and contact details at checkout.

7. GST, invoices, and business accounts

B2B buyers must provide valid GSTIN, legal business name, billing address, and other business details where required. Invoices are generated based on information supplied at checkout or in the business profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of tax, billing, and procurement data submitted through the site.

8. Returns, replacements, and warranties

Returns, replacements, refunds, and warranty claims depend on product condition, packaging, invoice details, supplier policy, and applicable law. Report damaged, incorrect, missing, or faulty items promptly via support@microchipcart.in or the help centre. Components damaged by incorrect voltage, soldering, wiring, misuse, physical damage, or electrostatic discharge may not qualify for return or replacement.

9. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, submit false business credentials, or resell products in violation of supplier terms or applicable regulations.

10. Community and user submissions

Community posts, project notes, reviews, chat messages, and support messages should be accurate, respectful, and lawful. We may remove content that is spam, misleading, unsafe, infringing, abusive, or unrelated to electronics sourcing and support.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Microchip Cart is not responsible for indirect losses, project delays, production losses, compatibility mistakes, or damage caused by incorrect use of components. Our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or the remedy required by applicable law.

12. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as the storefront, payment options, delivery coverage, business workflows, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated month and year.
